Vanuatu Permanent Residency
Permanent Residency is possible in Vanuatu upon buying a property for USD 100,000 or proving a monthly income of USD 2,500. Citizenship possible after 10 years of living in Vanuatu under this option under the naturalisation process. Permanent residency card (PR card) can be obtained for additional fee $10,000 for individuals and $12,000 for family.
Vanuatu also offers Land Owner Visa. If you wish to settle in Vanuatu and lease real estate, you can apply for a Land Ownership visa. Note that lands in Vanuatu are not freehold. Properties can be leased for up to 50 years for residential lots and 75 years for commercial ones

Visa requirements for Vanuatu citizens are administrative entry restrictions by the authorities of other states placed on citizens of Vanuatu. As of 1 January 2017, Vanuatuan had visa-free or visa on arrival access to 116 countries and territories, ranking the Vanuatuan passport 43rd in terms of travel freedom (tied with Samoan Passport) according to the Henley Passport Index.
Vanuatu signed a mutual visa waiver agreement with Schengen Area countries on 28 May 2015.
A mutual visa waiver agreement was signed with Russia on 20 September 2016 and entered into force on 21 October 2016
