Guatemala is a central American country which borders Mexico and Belize, and whose coastlines encompass both the Pacific ocean and the Caribbean sea. A mishmash of modernity interspersed with Spanish colonial architecture and ancient Mayan ruins, artifacts and culture, and blessed with some of the most breathtaking scenery found anywhere on the planet, Guatemala is a truly amazing country.
The Guatemalan Investment Visa program requires applicants to purchase a minimum of $50,000 in government bonds, which must be maintained for duration of five years.
Visa requirements for Guatemalan citizens are administrative entry restrictions by the authorities of other states placed on citizens of Guatemala.
As of 1 January 2018, Guatemalan citizens had visa-free or visa on arrival access to 123 countries and territories, ranking the Guatemalan passport 37th in terms of travel freedom (tied with Honduran passport) according to the Henley Passport Index.
